Excerpt from Out of the Night: Book One.
"Iona, step forward."
Vala felt the strongest desire to fall to her knees before this heavenly creature.
Iona bent to one knee in front of The Queen, bending over just enough further to kiss his feet as she murmured, "My Queen."
The Queen lovingly smiled at Iona. He reached out to run his index finger down her jaw and pressed her back to her heels. "This is Iona. She has been mine six years now. She was a waitress at a Denny's when we met. She fell asleep while taking my order so I paid for the coffee, told her boss that she quit, and brought her home with me. I believe she had been awake for a week that time. She does not like sleeping and she hates sleeping alone. Do not be surprised if, from time to time, she crawls into my bed."
This one I definitely need to get to know better, Vala thought.
Iona smiled, her eyes on The Queen's feet. "My Queen." She rose and glided back to her seat.

"Out of the Night: Book One" blurb
Restless and world-weary, Mearr isn't about to admit she needs anyone's help, even this gorgeous man who has taken her into his home. Well one of his homes and part of this huge family she's heard about but not met all of. She's young, looks young, and knows it but at least she's legal now so she can pick a new name to go with her new life...
The Queen knows he wants Mearr bad, ever since the first time he saw her in the window of the coffeehouse. He has his plan, but even a Dominant's plans don't always survive the unpredictability of the future. He struggles to figure out this temperamental woman he's brought home, how best to help her. Then he takes her to his mansion...
They wait patiently for The Queen to bring Mearr home. Well to the home they've been redecorating for Him and for the hopes that she'll become part of their family and be trained to please Him. Simon and Tommy have seen her, of course, being The Queen's right and left hands; they say she'll be a perfect addition...
Please come along with Joelle on this journey, shared with the readers in serial fashion. A multitude of "Happily-ever-afters" are waiting with the completion of book 9.
Author's Note: This novel is meant for open-minded adults. Activities described include a wide range of BDSM and sexual activities, some of which are male/male, male/female, consensual slavery, oral/anal/vaginal intercourse, bondage. The story also covers some sensitive topics in characters' backstories, such as drug abuse.
And now "Gates of the Garden: Book Two"- what could be so bad The Queen needs Iona and Vala's tender loving care?
--
Iona and Vala drew close to The Queen,
three mouths joined in one kiss.
Vala and Iona closed their eyes then
opened them. "Good morning, my Queen."
"Good morning, my beautiful little
slaves." The Queen laughed and kissed them roughly. "Thank
you for restarting my day."
blurb:
Vala
is very comfortable in her new life, her new name. She's hopelessly
in love, with The Queen, with Iona, with life. She's learning about
BDSM and knows The Queen has many surprises, lessons planned for her.
She's looking forward to ceremony day...
The
Queen considers, stresses, ponders. Sometimes he goes to Simon for
help, especially since Tommy messed up so bad. He's considering
things in the long term as he watches Vala blossom into what he wants
her to be...
Things
are settling down and they aren't for the rest of the stable. Tommy
did so mess things up, but at least there's Vala's training to
entertain, to occupy the stable as The Queen uses them in the ways he
needs. Abrecan, Orlee, and Gaelan struggle to come to terms with what
one decision did to their lives in the stable...
