#SatSpanks ... Why does Josephine's Master have a hairbrush in the bedroom?

8 or so sentences from writers who love to spank or be spanked. Please enjoy my snippet and then move onto the other hoppers- their links are at the bottom of this post.

So I know some of you I know saw my post on Facebook about my 14 year old dog laying down to sleep and passing in her sleep Thursday night; anything I had planned for this weekend, well, Saturday Spankings just felt familiar (even though I've even away some months). I hope to get it together and/or be led out of myself by everyone else's snippets.

Now for the scene set up... I'm back to work on "Mommy"- the BDSM/ageplay MFF menage that I started for Nanowrimo last year. The spanking part is really more from the LDR with the two women, Mommy and Joey. After some online flirtation (if you're interested, you can read the portion I shared for WIP It Up Wednesday here), Joey's Master gives her a hairbrush spanking suggested by Mommy. And here are your lines... :D

Master's lips brushed against my earlobe. "Do you think you've earned yourself a warm up before I paddle your ass with my brush?"

I lifted my gaze to Master's face. "A warm up... I hope... please, Master. I behaved after I earned the spanking, Master."

"I'm thinking that this needs to be a serious punishment, to go with Mara's thoughts though."

I whimpered as I turned to enter Master's waiting embrace. "As pleases You, Master," I murmured into His chest.

    1. thanks for the comment, Maggie. I always love moments like this- he can still be tender and sweet, even when he plans to give her a red ass :D

  2. Oh, Joelle, I didn't ready your FB post, but I'm so glad she passed peacefully in her sleep. I know you and your Master have been so worried about her, wondering if you should do something. She knew she was loved, but my heart goes out to you. Take care. And behaving after you've earned a spanking is always a wise thing to do in my book. Welcome back to SatSpanks.

    1. thanks, Kathryn. I loved putting in Joey's answer like that. I'm having to decide how much more I'll share on the hop. I had a moment with my Master the other day- I'd finished nearly 2000 words of "Mommy" long hand and so while we were watching Chyna after the ordeal of Him carrying her to the backyard because her legs had given out, I was still there typing. I think I snapped a bit- He has His new job, starts on 10/13, but even with Chyna obviously having a bad day, well there was still story for me to type, cleaning to do etc

  3. I didn't see the post on FB, but I'm glad -- if that is any comfort for you at all --- that she passed peacefully, Joelle. Awful thing, losing a beloved part of the family. Dogs are very special in my world and always have been and always will be. My dog is also 14 and very slow, deaf, half-blind, now. Huge hugs and condolences to you and Yours.

    1. thanks, Sheri :) it's just so odd not having any pets at the moment. No one needing care- other than Master and teen that is. hugs back :)

    3. thanks, Sheri :) It's going okay. It's the little things that are still stopping my Master and I. Like He mentioned turning on the bedroom light to avoid stepping on her; every time I make food or take care of a dirtied dish, I think of her.

    1. thanks, Adaline. yeah, it's so quiet without her, not that she was ever a noisy dog- she liked sleeping and eating the most of anything. yeah, the snippet is good; it was a bit hard to pick because the day in the story it's from, they've just rescued a wolfhound from the shelter for Joey- they're actually at the patio door watching him go potty the last time of the day when this exchange happens

  5. Very sweet and sexy, Joelle. So so sorry about your doggie. Animals are a precious gift. I love them all and wish I could help them all. My pets are so spoiled and the critters outside are just as spoiled and loved. Thinking about you. Hugs, Mary<3

  6. Nice snippet, Joelle. Very sweet. I know how you feel about your dog. We had ours for almost 15 years and even though he died 20 years ago, I have not been able to get another one. I just can't go through that pain again.

    1. thanks for the comment, Holla. I'm still hoping to finish this soon- when I finish the scene I was typing up during Chyna's last day, I found I don't have too much more to do before this WIP is ready for BRs.
Shaman and I are talking a cat; we've both always had pets. It will just have to wait until one or both of us is actively working at something bringing in money

    1. thanks for the comment, Emily :) I wasn't sure with the first person perspective in this book- especially with Joey's inner struggles of embracing her identities as slave and little girl, but I think I probably managed a better job showing that with the 1st person. thanks on Chyna; she was tired.

  10. I'm so sorry for your loss. ((big hugs)) it's so hard to lose them. We are currently petless at the moment too. It is weird.

    1. thanks for the comment, S.J. well it didn't exactly sneak up on us- she would have turned 15 in January- but I don't think my Master or I were really expecting to come home from the gaming store to find her passed laying on her blankets.
Yeah, I like this moment too :D it's funny though, I called her Josephine in the title, but I still think of her as Joey here because Mara/Mommy's chosen nickname for her as Joey just stuck :D even if she's with Andrew/Master here

  12. I'm so sorry to hear about your dog Joelle, it's so hard losing a pet, they are such a part of the family. My ex and I used to have dogs and we lost the last one earlier this year. I'm glad she passed peacefully in her sleep.
